Don Millar is a director and co-founder of Clarity Group. Prior to the formation of Clarity Group, Don established and ran an independent corporate finance advisory firm for 6 years. Don also worked at Bridge Capital from mid 1999 to December 2001. Before that, Don worked as a consultant in the Corporate Finance division at Deloitte & Touche. Over the past 13 years, Don has built up significant experience and expertise. Don has a broad skill set in traditional corporate finance transactions, but has particular expertise in private equity transactions, capital raisings, valuations and mergers & acquisitions. Don studied at the University of Cape Town and is a Chartered Accountant. He completed articles with Deloitte & Touche in Johannesburg in 1997.

Valecia van Rensburg qualified as a Chartered Accountant in January 2007 having served her Articles of Clerkship with PKF Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors. She joined Clarity in January 2011 from IDC where she was an Account Manager. Valecia graduated from the IDC's Dealmakers Training Academy in July 2009. Prior to IDC Valecia was Financial Manager of Sustainable Forestry Management, a company involved in carbon credit securitisation, alternative energy and land use optimisation projects in Africa. Valecia's experience includes; valuations, structured debt and equity transactions for a variety of clients in the Chemicals and Allied Industries business unit at the IDC including plastic product manufacturers, recycling and waste management companies, lime and mineral mining, brick manufacturers and other building products, glass product manufacturers, water purification and management systems and manufacturers of rubber crumb for the tyre industry. Restructured the balance sheets of distressed IDC clients to facilitate company turnarounds during the economic crises of 2008/2009.
